Dr. Garrett attended the University Of California School Of Dentistry in San Francisco. Upon graduating in 1984, Dr. Garrett was commissioned in the Navy where he practiced general dentistry for seven years.
He received a Certificate in Endodontics from the Advanced Clinical Program after which Dr.Garrett served as Head, Department of Endodontics, Okinawa, Japan. After his service in the Navy, Dr. Garrett accepted a position on the faculty of the University of California at Los Angeles, where he taught clinical endodontics. Dr. Garrett completed his residency training in endodontics at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Long Beach in 1997. Dr. Garrett received an Advanced Training Certificate in Microscopic Endodontics from the prestigious Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation in San Diego in 1996.
Dr. Garrett has extensive clinical experience including the retreatment of complex endodontic problems. His compassionate approach makes possible the comfortable treatment of the most anxious patients. Dr. Garrett is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Orange County Dental Association and the Harbor Dental Society. Additionally, he is a participant in the Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Institute. Dr. Garrett is married with two children and enjoys golf, exercise and reading.
